AF 203 Unit 11 Dual Night Cross Country Flight Lesson 8 2.0 Night Dual XC The student will plan and conduct a VFR night cross country utilizing pilotage, dead reckoning and radio aids (optional) that consists of: - Minimum 2.0 hours night flight time - At least a total straight line distance of more than 100 NM from the original point of departure Some Examples include: Carbondale, IL (MDH) to the following and returning * Dyersburg (DYR) - 214NM * Kennett Memorial (TKX) - 200NM * Hopkinsville Christian Co. (HVC) - 204NM * Taylorville (TAZ) - 211NM This lesson requires 2.0 hours of Night Cross Country Flight Time. The student will demonstrate satisfactory competence and safety for solo cross-country flight.
