AF 201A Unit 9 Dual Flight Lesson 5 Procedures Trainer

1.0 Sim Dual

The student will be introduced to the flight training device and use of instrument for basic attitude flying. This lesson can be substituted for any of the first five lessons. Try to complete this lesson when flying is impossible. (FRASCA device)

The student should be able to establish proper climbs and descents, turns and straight and level flight by reference to instruments. Altitude should be maintained within +/- 200 feet, headings within +/- 20 degrees and airspeed within +/- 10 knots.
