AF 201B Unit 19 Solo Cross Country Flight Lesson 11

201B Solo ops limited to 15kts surface wind or less.

2.5 Solo XC

During this lesson the student will conduct a three leg solo cross Country flight using pilotage, dead reckoning, and radio navigation (VOR) that consists of:

  1. minimum of 2.5 hours in duration
  2. a total distance of at least 150 nautical miles
  3. at least 3 legs with at least one leg that consists of a total straight line distance of more than 50 nautical miles.

This lesson requires 2.5 hours Solo Cross Country Time. The student conduct a VFR solo cross country utilizing pilotage, dead reckoning and radio aids(optional).
