Syllabus

§ 91.103 Preflight action. Each pilot in command shall, before beginning a flight, become familiar with all available information concerning that flight.

Objective

The student will become familiar with cross country planning to include: sectional usage; route, altitude, and checkpoint selection; chart supplement, and navigation log use.

Completion Standard

The student should display an understanding of cross country planning.
