91.107 (d)….ELTs must be inspected every 12 calendar months

Ferrying a new airplane to where an ELT can be installed.
Ferrying an airplane with an inoperative ELT to a location where it can be repaired/replaced
ELTs are not required under FAR 91.207(f)…
Turbojets prior to 1/1/04
Scheduled aircarrier ops
Training within 50nm
Flights for design & testing (aircraft)
Aerial chemical application
Certificated R&D aircraft (FAA auth)
Aircraft used for showing compliance with regulations
Aircraft equipped to carry not more than 1 person
Aircraft with transmitter removed (placarded, logged IAW 91.207(f)10)
Max payload greater than 18,000lbs when used in air transportation
